5 Beauty Tips to Try This Summer Season, Especially During Travelling

As the glaring sun denotes the arrival of the summer season, people all over Pakistan are trying to stay cool by doing different things including drinking lots and lots of water and eating delicious fruits that are high in water content.

Apart from this, they are also trying different remedies to cool down their body temperatures and to keep their skin safe and healthy during intense heatwaves. This is because no one wants to have that excess tan on their skin as it not only damages the skin but also hides the beautiful features that Pakistanis have.

Keeping in mind the harmful effects that the glaring sun can have on our skin and our health, Jovago Pakistan brings you 5 beauty tips that will help you keep you protected in the summer season.

1.    Use Aloe vera
Do not judge the plant due to the spikes that it is covered in. Rather befriend the aloe vera plant and use it for its anti-inflammatory that will not only calm and soothe your skin after excessive exposure to the sunlight but will also help repair damaged skin. You can rub aloe vera gel to get rid of the excess tan that you end up getting as a result of the harsh sunlight.

2.    Ditch your powder blush for tinted creme blush
Being in excessive heat can result in you getting oil and sweat all over your skin. To avoid your make up getting botched due to the oil and sweat, you should trade your powder blush with a tinted creme blush. The cream blush works pretty well with sweat as compared to its powdery sister making it ideal for summer time.

3.    Use raw potato
Apart from being used in foods, potatoes are good for skin care as they are rich in vitamin C which is vital for maintaining skin health. You can use a raw potato to remove sunburn effects from your skin by applying potato juice and leaving it on your skin for about 15-20 minutes. You can also get rid of puffy eyes by refrigerating a slice of raw potato and laying the cool slices on your eyes. This will help you to get that fresh-faced look back after a long night.

4.    Smooth dry lips with sugar scrub
The summer season may leave your lips dry and chappy due to dehydration. You can get smoothen your lips by simply using an exfoliant made out of honey, brown sugar and coconut oil.

5.    Use tomatoes
Tomato is another fruit which is extremely beneficial for skincare as it removes sunburn and gives a healthy glow to your face. You can apply fresh tomato juice to your face and leave it for a few minutes. This will help to naturally cool your skin down and help you to get renewed skin after a harsh day in the sun.
